The 250 cm-diameter umbrella-type sail is the handiwork of Vlaemynck, which boasts over 50 years’ experience in industrial-scale weaving, fabric-making and assembly. The firm opted for 260 gsm Sunbrella® solution-dyed acrylic fabric. Because it’s hard-wearing, water-repellent and resistant to UV rays, stains and mould, it’s ideal for protecting the subtle and exclusive colours from the Fermob metal colour chart.
